Satellite Maps is a great way to check transportation roots,driving directions, bus stop locations and much more. You can also check gas prices for different cities around North America. Mainly for U.S and Canada.
One of the easiest way to get a satellite map is by downloading a toolbar configuration called
Maps aLot.
You type in the address you want to find and, it will prompt you to download a tool bar configuration where you get: atlas, map tools, directions and much more.
The following is a brief description of each map tool bar option.

Atlas of Canada or US:
You get prompted to the National Resources Canada. If you are in the US, you get prompted to the equivalent to U.S. In there, you not only have information about world maps, but also, information about population, economy, history, health and many more topics. It is a great site to know everything pertaining either U.S or Canada. Especially great if you are planning to visit North America or even if you are planning to do a road trip.

Driving Directions:
Rand Mc Nally site finds you the quickest root from point A to point B. All you have to do is input the address, city and zip to both initial location and destination.

Gas Prices:
This is a great site to find out where you can get the cheapest gas prices. Please be aware, it is only for U.S.A. If you want to find out the closes gas stations with low price, you input your address and click search. Very simple to do.

Hop Stop:
This is a great site to find out Bus and subway directions across United States. It is a great tool for people who just move to a big city in U.S; or if you are just visiting and want to take one of these two transportations.

Map My Run:
This is a great website where you can check the best roots for a person to walk, run or ride a bike. In fact, you can get your own roots too. To start, all you have to do is type the city you are from. Subsequently, you will all roots for your area.
