When you Move or Go Away
It's Official! Starchoice Moving Program is FREE for all its customers. However, be aware some restrictions will apply. For instance, Starchoice will cover up to $150 toward installation. If you have more than one, you should either phone or email them to discuss your situation. When you move to a new home, all you have to do is phone Star Choice or shaw direct at 1 866 STAR-WEB (7827-932). Please give at least 3 week notice to get your appointment on time.
Star Choice Move Program
When you move Star Choice will include the following:
a)Installer will bring new dish: All you do is bring your receiver(s) and leave the dish behind. You will get a brand new Star Choice dish. The latest one is the Elliptical Quad LNB dish.
b)One Receiver Per TV: Star Choice includes the installation for one receiver to one TV. If you have more than one, you should phone Star Choice to discuss your alternatives.
c)Once a Year Moving: Starchoice Moving Program includes once a year for you to move. If you move more than once, then you have to pay $50.
d)Video Equipment Setup: Normally, Star Choice Installer will setup both TV and VCR to your Star Choice Receiver. However, if you have a Home Theater, you have to pay extra or do it yourself. This is not included in the FREE moving program.
Free Disconnection Once a Year
Star Choice knows that emergencies can happen. Or maybe, you are planning to go away for vacation. That's not problem. Star Choice has designed a FREE disconnection program while you're away. The following are the benefits and regulations of the disconnection program:
a)Once a year: If you go away for any circumstance, Starchoice will give you a FREE disconnection. If you do it more than once, you will pay a fee. Please phone at 1 888 554 7827 for details about that.
b)Minimum/Maximum Disconnection Time: The minimum time that you could be disconnected is 2 weeks and maximum 6 months. If you are away for more, you will charge for it.
c)Now Worries about your Contract: Even though, you might be tight up under 1 year contract, you still can disconnect for FREE. Once you come back and activate your system, you continue your contract where you were before.
