Southern Alberta Internet is Available by Barrett Xplornet
Xplornet provides Southern Alberta Internet without using your phone line. You can enjoy Internet without dial up if you live in one of the following cities and towns: Lethbridge, Coaldale, Picture Butte, Iron Springs, Coalhurst, Monarch, Moon River Estates, Raymond and Welling. As time goes by, Xplornet will be including more towers for internet in further areas.
For the above towns, there are four towers available. The first tower is located in the Coaldale High School. From there, it works up to 20 kms from there. The second tower is located in Coalhurst. To be more exact is opposite side of Kipp Road sign (1 mile away.) The third tower is located by Wilson Siding. This tower is located at the second Grain Elevator, close to the interception of Hwy 4 and Raymond Hwy. The last tower is located in the Picture Butte High School.
