Any Signal finder finds any satellite
But do you know
Which ones perform better?

Google

There are so much selection on Signal finders. No matter what Signal finder you choose, they all do the same job. But, some perform better. In fact, some finders outperform by finding specific satellite signals. There are two kinds of finders: Analog meters and Digital meters.

Analog Signal Meters

Analog meters are the simpliest and more basic meters you can ever use. The majority of these finders have a needle to measure the signal strength of the satellite you have found. These signal meters lack of its own power supply. Thus, they use satellite receiver power, from satellite in connector. There are other finders that beep to let the user know you have found a satellite.

There is an advantage and disadvantage in these finders. The main advantage is that they are easy to use and they can find just about any satellite. The disadvantage is that these finders cannot tell you which satellite you have found.

The following are the most popular analog meters in the market you can count:

Satellite Beeper: These satellite finder lets you find a satellite with a single LNB. You can check the signal by hearing the increment of the sound. It uses the receiver power and it comes with a ear buds.

Analog (Needle) Satellite Meters: The easiest compact finder you will ever use. It can finds C Band or KU Band satellite signals.

Digital Signal Meters

Two main features you get with digital meters are accuracy and specialized. How accurate are these finders? It can give you up to 20% stronger readout than the conventional analog meters. Some of those meters are su accurate they will tell you which satellite you have found. However, be ready to spend more money for those. Also, there are some digital meters that specialize in finding particular satellites only. This is the case for Internet Satellites.

The following are the most popular digital meters in the market you can count:

DigiSat II Meter: This signal finder has a digital LED screen. It also checks how good is gthe quality of coaxial cable. it requires power comming form receiver. It has a bright LEDs lights; so you can use even when it is dark.
Digisat III Pro Multi Meter: This is a great signal finder it comes with its own battery pack. In other words, there is no need for external coming all the way from the receiver. Most impressive, it works great with temperatures as low as zero degrees celcious.

Accutrac 22 Pro: This meter is great, when you're finding two satellites simultenously. For instance, you can find 119W and 110W or 91W and 82W. In otherwords, when you have to find two satellites using a single dish, Acutrac 22 Pro is the machine for you.

Lacuna Satellite Meter: A great machine that not only tells you that a satellite has been found, but also, it recognizes the right now. Isn't that sweet! You can use for any Analog or Digital Satellite systems. And if the satellite is not in memory, you can download the new firmware so, the lacuna can recognize the satellite you want.

BIRDOG Satellite Signal Locator: This is that top of the line of all the Satellite finders. You can find ANY satellite including Broadband Satellite systems such as LincSat and Direcway. In fact, it willl identify them too.

Super Buddy: Save time and find the right satellite in matter of seconds. This latest finder tells you how far you have to go to find the right satellite you are looking for.
