For those of you who don't like use signal finders, a Satellite locator is all you need. This consist of a small computer program that gives you an accurate description where the satellite is located. All you have to do is select the satellite you want to find, the state and city whre you are. Subsequently, you will get the coordinates of where the satellite is.

1. Satellite Dish Canada: This website gives you the coordinates for the most popular DBS satellite including: Express Vu, Star Choice, Dish Network and DirecTV. There are two steps to follow for this program to work. You first enter the satellite name you want to find. Then you select the country and closest city where you are located. Last and not least, you click on calculate look Angle button. Subsquently, you get both Azimuth and Elevation for your area. All you need to have is a compass to get accurate readings for the satellite direction. And you are set to Go!

2. Dish Network - Zip Code: For those of you who have a Dish Network receiver this link is exclusive for you. All you have to do is type the Zip Code of where you are. Subsequently, you will get Azimuth, Elevation and Skew for your Dish Network system. This program will give you a reading for any the following satellites: 110W, 119W, 148W and 61.5W.
