MD500: Mobile Satellite
for Dish 500 & Expressvu Systems
This is the most popular mobile satellite in North America. The MD500 allows you to pickup both Dish 500, 110W and 119W simultenously. Also, for those of you in Canada, this mobile system picks up Both Expressvu Nimiq 91W and 82W. This is great dish if you are travelling anywhere in North America.
For those canadian customers who want to watch Expressvu in the U.S, be aware, the further south you go, the less channels you can watch.
How MD500 Works
As an average it takes about 1 to 2 minutes to lock on the satellite you are looking for. It doesn't matter whether it is standard or high definition tv. All you do is power up the nomad control box and press the search button. And just like magic, the satellite will be right at you! Also, be aware is very reliable when it is windy or rainy days.
