ExpressVu Rental Program Stipulations.
There are some requirements, you must follow in order to qualify under ExpressVu rental program:
a)2 Year Contract: When you're under ExpressVu Rental Program, you Must sign a two year contract. If you cancel before this, you will get charge a penalty fee according to the months you have remaining in your account.
b)Buying a Rental Kit: You have to buy a rental kit. The rental kit has a contract saying that you are under a commitment with ExpressVu for the next 24 months. ExpressVu will refund this Rental kit fee in programming credit. If you wish to rent a regular receiver (non High Definition), you buy a $50 rental kit. But, if you wish to rent a HDTV receiver, then you buy a $100 rental kit. Both kits are fully refunded by ExpressVu in your account.
c)You must provide either valid Credit Card or banking information. ExpressVu keeps your credit card or banking information as a back in case you don't pay your bill on time. For banking information, Bell requires, Bank name, Branch Number, Institution Number and account Number. If you cannot provide this information, you CANNOT rent an ExpressVu satellite system.
d)You can only rent maximum 4 receivers per Rental Kit. 9241S HDTV receiver counts like two receivers.
e)The maximum number of receiver per account no matter whether you are renting or buying is 6.
Renting a Model 4100 System
Subscribe to any package. The mimimum package is $33/mth (This is called: Build your Own.) For this option, you have to add $3/mth rental fee for the 4100 receiver.
As a new subscriber of ExpressVu, you get $10 off on your bill for the next 12 months.
When one receiver is not enough for you home, you can add additional receivers. The following is a breakdown price by adding more receivers under ExpressVu Rental program:
a)Extra 4100 Receivers: For any additional 4100 receivers, you add $3/mth.
b)6141 HDTV Receivers: To rent a 6141 receiver, as additional unit, you add $10/mth to your bill.
c)9241S HDTV Receivers: To rent a 9241S receiver, as additional unit, you add $20/mth to your bill.
Please note: 9241S HDTV receiver counts as TWO receivers, since it is a dual tuner receiver.
Renting a Model 6141 HD System
When you're renting a 6141 HDTV receiver you must do the following:

As a new subscriber of ExpressVu, you get $10 off in your bill for the next 12 months.
