Dual Stack lnbs allows you to connect both
Regular and HDTV channels

Dual Stack lnbs have the same function as the single stack lnbs. The only difference is that a dual stack lnb pick up both Star Choice Satellites: Anik F1 and Anik E2.

There are couple things you should know about these dual stack LNBS. First, you need a 2x2 multiswitch to get it working. This switch has two inputs and two outputs. Each input is connect to each corresponding LNB (For Anik f1 and Anik e2 satellites). The two outputs are used to connect to independent single tunner Star Choice receivers.

You can still connect a regular High Frequency splitter to a dual stack LNB. However, two things you should know. First, since the splitter has only one input, only one satellite will be connected to it. If you connect Sat A LNB, then you will get only HDTV channels. If you connect to Sat B LNB, you get only English channels. By the way, another name for a dual stack lnb is twin stack lnb. So, a twin stack LNB works only for Star Choice Eliptical 60cm and 75cm dishes. Even if you try to fit a round Star Choice dish to it, it won't work.

Last and not least, any international channels are located in Anik E2 Satellite. So, any person wants to watch those channels, MUST have a Eliptical dish (60cm or 75cm) with Dual Stack LNB. Be aware, A Twin Stack LNB will not pick up or recognize any dishnetwork or Bell ExpressVu Satellite Signals. Star Choice LNBS works only for Star Choice satellite systems or any True Free To Air Satellite with the proper size of dish, including Ku-Band signals ONLY.
