The following is a chart of the Dishnetwork Orbital location of its satellites. It is divided in two: DBS and FSS. DBS means digital broadcast. These satellites are 61.5W, 110W, 119W, 129W & 148W. FSS stands for Fixed Satellite System. These satellites are 105W, 118.7W & 121W. In fact, it uses KA & KU Band frequencies.

Please be aware 148 W satellite will be OUT OF SERVICE before December 2009. All international channels will be moved to 118 W satellite. You will need either a Dish 500 +, Dish 1000+ or a 33 to 36" with a 118.7 KU LNB.
