The following are two charts of the Dishnetwork Orbital location of its satellites. It is divided in two: DBS and FSS. DBS means digital broadcast. These satellites are 61.5W, 110W, 119W, 129W & 148W. FSS stands for Fixed Satellite System. These satellites are 105W, 118.7W & 121W. In fact, it uses KA & KU Band frequencies. Please be aware 148 W satellite will be OUT OF SERVICE before December 2009. Also be aware the super dish and Dish 1000.2 are satellites discounted by dishnetwork. All international channels have moved to 118 W satellite. You will need either a Dish 500 +, Dish 1000+ or a 33 to 36" with a 118.7 KU LNB.

Please be aware the 118.7 satellite, doesn't do any dishnetwork updates. Thus, you will need to connect a second satellite to pick up either 110 or 119 satellite. In this way, there will never be obstruction or problems with your signal due to the missing updates on 118.7.
