| The most basic entry level satellite meter in the market is the Digisat II. It gives you a more accurate reading for signal strength than analog finders. It uses green LED lights to indicate the intensity of the signal you find. This finder gives you the option to use either the receiver power or a battery pack. If you use the receiver power, all you need is to connect the meter between the LNB and receiver. But, if you don't want that, you use the battery pack.
