DSS multiswitches uses uses 4 way multiswitch same as Dishnetwork and Bell ExpressVu. But, there are more than those. The most popular switches used for DirecTV systems: DIRECTV 4x8 Multi-Switch for Dual and Triple LNB Dish, S-SM21V two way Switch and 4X4 Multiswitch for Multi Satellite. a)DIRECTV 4x8 Multi-Switch for Dual and Triple LNB Dish. This LNB allows you to connect up to 8 receivers no matter whether you have a dual LNB or triple LNB DirecTV. If you have a dual LNB, you will get only 119W and 101W. The Triple LNB will allow to connect 110W. This Satellite provides the High Definition channels. b)S-SM21V. This switch allows you to connect two satellites into one receiver. It works the same as your SW21 from Dishnetwork systems. c)4X4 Multiswitch for Multi Satellite. You have to connect two dual LNBS, DSS systems, install up to four receivers. Note: The newest DSS LNBS come with the switches build it. So, it is a matter of time, when there will be no need to have any of these switches in the market. These LNBS work just as

from Dishnetwork. Just remember, DisPro pickup only two satellites. While Triple DSS LNBS pickup three Satellites including 110W HDTV.
