Analog finders are very popular meters since they are inexpensive and easy to use. All you do, is pointing the satellite close to where you figure the satellite is located. Then, you connect this meter from LNB to receiver. Once you find a signal, the needle moves all the way to the right. Subsquently, you adjust the gain control down. You repeat the procedure until the need stops moving forward.
Believe or not, these analog meters can be used to find
KU Band
and
KA Band
signals. However, it might be a bit hard to fine tune. That's why digital finders
